2 Corinthians 9:10-15 (AMP)
Now He who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will provide and multiply your seed for sowing [that is, your resources] and increase the harvest of your righteousness [which shows itself in active goodness, kindness, and love]. You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous, and this [generosity, administered] through us is producing thanksgiving to God [from those who benefit]. For the ministry of this service (offering) is not only supplying the needs of the saints (God’s people), but is also overflowing through many expressions of thanksgiving to God. Because of this act of ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to the gospel of Christ which you confess, as well as for your generous participation [in this gift] for them and for all [the other believers in need], and they also long for you while they pray on your behalf, because of the surpassing measure of God’s grace [His undeserved favor, mercy, and blessing which is revealed] in you. Now thanks be to God for His indescribable gift [which is precious beyond words]!
Bill Rowe is a youth mentor, Certified Life Coach (CLC), philanthropist, entrepreneur, community activist, missionary, FinTech expert, and follower of Jesus Christ. Firmly rooted in his faith, Bill's life mission is to equip his mind, body, and spirit daily to serve as a conduit for Christ's servant leadership.
Born to humble beginnings in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, his parents worked arduously with his father putting in countless hours at their family-owned farm and mother (pictured) working night shifts at the local hospital to care for he and brother Joshua by day. Despite the time invested to maintain their modest lifestyles, they never neglected the labor of love. Bill cites his mom as the foundational role model for his character, instilling the Christ-like love for neighbor and obligation to spread the blessings God has entrusted to you, at an early age. Following a robbery at their City of Bethlehem home, where his mom most notably lost her wedding ring, his parents doubled down for their family, working even harder to sustain a suburbian lifestyle.
Bill spent countless hours on his family farm, both shadowing and eventually working alongside his father and grandfather (pictured). His time on the farm served as significant in Bill's formational years where he learned the importance of the value of a dollar, grit, community, and a greater purpose outside one's self. It was one scorching July day in high school, picking peaches with sweat drenching his body, that Bill began to yearn for a life better than that his family had always known.
By the grace of God, Bill met several mentors in subsequent year's that steered the ship of his life towards the sunny shores of success. Mr. Tom Rutherford, high school business teacher, inspired him by his Wall Street experience, gentlemanly poise, and intellectual curiosity. Mr. Billy Staples, former educator and philanthropist, drove home the importance of accountability, purpose, tenacity, and the power of paying it forward in life. Staples remains a close friend and dear mentor to this day. Dr. Jeff Focht (pictured), who taught Bill the value of integrity and how quickly one can lose a reputation that was year's in the making, in addition to growth mindset, the law of attraction, the importance of daily acts of kindness, and the importance of making Christ the foundation in life. It was Focht who gifted him the copy of his favorite and most influential book, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale's "The Power of Positive Thinking". Lastly, Professor Jeanine Metzler, who continuously challenged Bill, both inside and outside of the classroom, seeing in him and pushing him to reach his full potential.
Thanks to the incredible influences in his life, in 2015 Bill graduated Temple University with a B.B.A. concentrated in Finance, becoming the first college graduate in his family. Shortly thereafter, Bill reunited with his childhood best friend to begin his career on Wall Street. Never forgetting his beginnings and what his mom taught him, Bill spreads his blessing today having served in numerous leadership capacities for the Bethlehem Rotary, the B.E.S.T. Scholarship Group, Bethlehem Catholic High School, Northampton Community College, The Center Lehigh Valley, Hellertown Area Library, and Always on Mission. In 2017, Bill founded community development non-profit, the Elevate Foundation, to further serve the neighbors in need within his beloved community where he serves as President to this day.
